The Oil and Gas Technology solution from Mentor Engineering focuses on several key areas, including work order management, allowing office staff the ability to track the location and status of field operators, electronically send and change work orders as needed, or redirect personnel to priority jobs, the company stated.

The solution also includes automatic vehicle location, which tracks vehicles and personnel, through a pendant, whenever they leave the vehicle or work a job alone. Instant communication and the tracking of driver behaviors as well as diagnostics alerts and electronic billing are also features of the solution.
