To solve what it says are problems with current waste weight management systems, FleetMind has unveiled FleetLink Scales.

Unlike currenty systems which require “major truck modifications and [have] been prone to damage,” CEO Martin Demers said, FleetLink scales install onto truck lifts and integratesseamlessly with back-office systems.

“Our new FleetLink Scales system is designed to eliminate the key issues associated with current in-market solutions – expensive truck modifications, lack of back-office data correlation, and onerous requirements for ongoing maintenance and re-calibratio,” Demers said. “We believe FleetLink Scales is a great leap forward for the use of scales in commercial disposal applications.”

According to FleetMind, the system costs less than other solutions, installs easily, requires minimal maintenance, offers real-time data and identifies extra services and weights for more accurate billing.
