A new text-based search function has been added to Mitchell 1’s web-based repair programs, Tractor-Trailer.net and Medium-Truck.net.

The new functionality will search entire articles instead of just components for key words to help users locate the appropriate information quicker, Mitchell 1 said.

The company has also added “breadcrumbs” to keep track of where a technician is in the program at any given point, allowing backtracking to previously viewed information.

The two sites provide 24/7 access to real-world service information to diagnosing medium- or heavy-duty truck problems. Detailed information, color photos, diagnostics and wiring diagrams are updated monthly.

Users can also trace, highlight, isolate and hide individual wiring circuits by using the exclusive CircuitSelect function.
