Stevens Transport to implement Qualcomm MCP200

Refrigerated carrier Stevens Transport will install Qualcomm’s Mobile Computing Platform 200 (MCP200) across its entire fleet of approximately 2,000 tractors. Refrigerated carrier Stevens Transport will install Qualcomm’s Mobile Computing Platform 200 (MCP200) across its entire fleet of approximately 2,000 tractors. MCP200 incorporates the Qualcomm hours-of-service electronic onboard recorder (EOBR) application to automate driver logs, and performance monitoring to record critical vehicle and driver performance that affect fuel consumption.

Also included in the MCP200 solution is Qualcomm’s circle of service workflow that will integrate with Stevens’ dispatch software to automate functions such as load assignments, work process forms, and other task required by drivers at each stop. In-cab navigation with turn-by-turn directions and accurate routing to reduce out-of-route miles and media manager, which allows for the delivery of audio and video messages and pdf documents to individual drivers, a group of drivers, or the entire fleet.
