Preco Electronics has incorporated Sky Detective’s SD30 technology into its PreCise fleet and equipment tracking system
    June 9, 2008

Preco Electronics has incorporated Sky Detective’s SD30 technology into its PreCise fleet and equipment tracking system, the companies announced.

According to the companies, PreCise’s wireless system increases a fleet manager’s visibility of their equipment and the job it is performing. When combined with Sky Detective’s SD30, which provides CDMA-assisted positioning capabilities for identifying locations in tunnels and parking garages, the system is more accurate for equipment operating in difficult conditions.

"There’s a natural fit in the commercial space between our two Idaho-based companies, because Preco's goal - to promote safety and profitability in the heavy equipment space - follows our own mission,” said Sky Detective CEO Jerry Thompson. “We’re seeing increased demand for asset tracking technology in the heavy equipment industry, and we believe our combined technologies provide the best solution to address the demand.”
