Prophesy Transportation Solutions, Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with BestTransport.com to provide logistics professionals a single and simple, on-demand (SaaS) application for planning, execution and settlement.

According to the two companies, BestTransport’s execution technology will utilize Prophesy’s load-building and route-optimization systems to form one integrated system for all freight transactions.

Prophesy also announced that it has expanded its GPS tracking and mobile communications to include coverage within the Sprint CDMA network, allowing seamless voice and data roaming to other major CDMA networks such as Alltel and Verizon.

Prophecy’s TrackerSeries software runs on the Sprint/Sanyo 7050 model handset. In addition, the TrackerSeries now can be integrated with Prophesy Fuel Management Software and features auto-completion of stops and loads, automated fuel tax reporting, new mapping technology provided by ESRI, and sends the best truck stop fuel prices along each route directly to the driver’s mobile device, the company said.
