GlobalWave links with McLeod

Providing both in-cab communications and untethered trailer tracking, the satellite-based GlobalWave wireless data system from TransCore has developed an interface for McLeod Software's LoadMaster fleet management system.

The new integration option allows fleets to send pre-formatted or free form messages to drivers from directly from LoadMaster dispatch screens. The combination can also automate fuel tax reporting and provide LoadMaster users with free access to TransCore's fuel-tax monitoring service.

GlobalWave is a web-based wireless tracking and communications service that can be used to monitor both powered and unpowered vehicles.
