Terion adds Carrier reefer monitor

Trailer-tracking system maker Terion is launching a new version of its FleetView product, compatible with Carrier-brand trailer refrigeration units. The company now offers monitoring interfaces for both Carrier and Thermo King reefers.

Carrier's trailer tracking communication interface integrates with FleetView 3R to monitor reefer operation and performance, as well as create a record of that performanced. It also comes with a standard complement of trailer management features.

New features for the Carrier Terion interface include: reefer temperature and set points recorded with all event data and reported via digital wireless data connection to Terion's web-based trailer fleet management tool; up to 16 active fault codes reported with each event; and temperature logs stored and transmitted if necessary to validate temperature history.
