Vendor locator for routing app

The FleetNav online routing and tracking application from Maptuit Corp. now offers a vendor locator that allows dispatchers to identify the best or closest service provider if a vehicle breaks down on the road.

Providing tight integration with most popular fleet dispatch systems, the new locator feature can be customized with a fleet's existing vendor lists or draw from Maptuit's own database of service vendors, according to the company.

The new feature can also provide vendors with directions to the disabled vehicle and prioritize vendors based on prices or existing relationships, Maptuit says.
