Web service adds dynamic route optimization

Mobitrac Dynamic Area Planner, a web-based on-demand service from Mobitrac Inc., lets carriers and shippers quickly create and adjust balanced work areas while responding to multiple service level requirements.

Shortening planning optimization time from weeks and even months to as little as a day, the new service can cut operating costs by as much as 8%, according to the company.

Dynamic Planner can be used as a standalone service or integrated with other modules in Mobitrac's web-based transportation execution platform.

The company's services are currently used by LTL, private, P&D, specialty and service fleets.
