GPS automates tax reporting

McLeod Software has announced the GPS Fuel Tax Module for its LoadMaster enterprise transportation management system. The module utilizes GPS position data to simplify fuel tax reporting for fleets, according to the company.

The system uses the information, captured from the LoadMaster Symphony Mobile Communication interface, to eliminate data entry and easily transfer the data to McLeod's fuel tax module for reporting purposes. The new interface will streamline reporting processes and produce accurate in-state miles for every vehicle's movement, the company says.
