Melton updates tire, PM module

The Horizon fleet management system has received an update for its vehicle maintenance and tire tracking module update, according to developer Melton Technologies. According to the company, the update will integrate with the dispatch, billing and driver settlements applications on the existing software.

Features of the module update include integrated tire tracking, automated preventive maintenance, purchase orders for parts and repair items and a maintenance tracer feature for easier tracking of completed repairs, according to Melton.

The new update for the tire tracking and maintenance module is being offered at no-charge to existing Horizon fleet customers.
