PeopleNet has announced a new focus on French-speaking markets in North America, releasing a French version of PeopleNet BLU and appointing Richard Budzyn, who is bilingual, as an account manager.

“This is something we have wanted to do for a long time,” PeopleNet CEO Ron Konezny said. “Trucks from excellent fleets based in Quebec are a familiar sight on highways across North America. We look forward to serving these international fleets as well as fleets that operate closer to home within French-speaking regions,”

Budzyn will serve PeopleNet accounts in English- and French-speaking eastern Canada, the company said.

He comes to PeopleNet Canada from Shaw Tracking, where he worked for 13 years.
