    To address the growing number of cut-backs, mergers, bankruptcies and buyouts in the trucking industry, the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) will hold a webinar entitled “Growing, Restructuring or Surviving—What You Need To Know About Current Capital Markets” at noon ET on September 18, 2008.

    The 90-minute webinar will focus on how capital providers view the trucking industry and the best ways to approach the capital market to succeed in tough times, TCA said.

    Speakers will include Bruce Jones, president of KSM Transport Advisors, LLC; Frank Mountcastle, co-head of Logistics and Transportation Services Investment Banking Group, BB&T; Dave Ross, vp of Transportation and Logistics Group Equity Research, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc.; and Dave Thomas, senior vp, Specialized Industries Group, Bank of America.

    Registration is $139 for TCA members and $169 for non-members.
