A cargo security forum will be held in Washington DC from December 5-6. According to organizers, the meeting will bring transportation executives together with shippers and government officials to discuss how to improve cargo security.

Thirty experts will be on hand, including officials from U.S Customs and the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. Sessions will focus on refining security strategies, evaluating security technologies and how to accomplish both on a tight budget.
