A new narrated lifecycle cost analysis program from NAFA Fleet Management Assn. can help fleet managers learn all they need to know about lifecycle cost analysis in just three hours, the association said.

The Lifecycle Cost Analysis for Fleets was created to show managers how to use analytic financial modeling within their fleets. Available on a flash drive, the presentation takes three hours to view and includes four review activities.

Fleet managers can use their own data while also reviewing sample spreadsheets from NAFA members to see how their peers do lifecycle cost analysis modeling. Examples include a step-by-step, realistic lifecycle costing model conducted by a leased corporate fleet; a demonstration from a public fleet perspective; a model for a major construction equipment manufacturer; and examples from fleet managers throughout every segment of the industry.
