Operating as a division of TransPlastics, the fleet will continue to be managed by the Mirrer family. ... Transit Group has acquired Transportation Resources and Management Inc. (TRM), a privately held trucking company based in Fort Wayne, Ind. TRM, which has $6 million in annual revenues, is a dry van carrier that currently operates a company-owned fleet of 47 power units and 88 trailers in the Midwest.

America's Road Team The American Trucking Assns. has named 12 of the nation's best professional truck drivers as captains of the 1998 America's Road Team, a select group who tour the country educating the public about trucking and highway safety.
