TruckStops Routing and Scheduling software has released an interface for adding geocoding information from TeleAtlas North America. The new interface allows users to geocode batch or individual records online with TeleAtlas' EZ-Locate service without leaving their TruckStops screen, according to developer MicroAnalytics Inc. A new user interface for TruckStops has also been released, providing customizable tool bars to make it easier to navigate through the software, the developer says. www.bestroutes.com

Truckload and intermodal carrier Comtrak Logistics Inc. has added Aether MobileMax wireless tracking and messaging systems to its entire fleet of 550 tractors. Comtrak provides longhaul truckload service throughout the Southeast and Midwest, as well as container storage and logistics services.

Twelve fleets have purchased or agreed to pilot test Xatanet 2.0, the web-based fleet management system, according to developer XATA Corp. Released in November, the latest version of the subscription-based system includes two-way wireless data communications over the Orbcomm satellite network. The monthly subscription fee for the system also includes onboard hardware and software. www.xata.com

Commercial Transport Northern Ltd. of Lively, Ontario, has equipped its entire fleet of 100 dry bulk trailers with Vistar Datacom's GlobalWave MT 2000 trailer tracking system. CTN carries bulk products and hazardous material in Ontario, Quebec, New York, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Shipment Director is an online application that helps ABF Freight System customers prepare documents and tender multiple shipments. It allows shippers to automatically generate bills of lading and shipping labels as well as notify ABF of shipping details from an online database of pending shipments.

Infosite Technologies' Dispatch-Mate fleet dispatching software system will now offer users access to Cabit System's automated load posting and carrier search services for the Canadian market. The new partnership will also allow Dispatch-Mate users to take advantage of Cabit's suite of wireless data communications and GPS tracking applications for Palm and Windows CE handheld devices. www.infositetech.com
