Online parts management

With over 10 million part numbers from more than 1,200 suppliers, the transportation and heavy-duty trucking database was designed for online searches by fleets, dealers and distributors, according to developer PartsRiver, Inc.

Currently being tested by PartsRiver customers, the new online web service supports both “public” and “private” database versions as determined by a customer's business rules. “The demand for a highly accurate parts database that can be customizes to reflect the unique needs of individual fleets was overwhelming,” says company CEO Elisa Jagerson.
