Peterbilt Motors Co. unveiled two new options at the ConExpo-Con/Agg show for its Model 357 chassis: a 115-in. BBC set-back front axle configuration designed for concrete mixers; and a heavy-haul spec equipped with a high-capacity cooling system and 625-hp. C-15 Caterpillar engine option.

The front axle configuration improves weight distribution, allowing for higher payloads and better maneuverability. A sloped hood and lower crown and grille improve forward visibility and ground clearance, while new doors increase side visibility by 17%.

The heavy-haul spec features a 1,440-sq.-in. radiator core to provide greater cooling for heavy-duty work applications such as dump, logging, oilfield and snowplow operations. Featuring a 119-in. BBC, as well as a set-back front axle, it's available in both tractor and truck configurations.
