Freightliner Trucks is continuing its official sponsorship deals with Nascar for 2010. This marks the company's fifth year as the official heavy-duty truck sponsor of the sport, serving as a sponsor for nine teams competing in the Sprint Cup Series.
For the 2010 racing season, Freightliner Trucks will sponsor the following Nascar racing teams: Hendrick Motorsports; Penske Racing; Richard Petty Motorsports; Joe Gibbs Racing; RCR (Richard Childress) Racing; Robby Gordon Motorsports; Michael Waltrip Racing; Rusty Wallace Racing; and Front Row Motorsports.
These teams use Freightliner Coronado, Classic XL and Cascadia tractors to transport their cars, supplies and equipment to races across the country.
Freightliner is also expanding its Nascar presence by sponsoring Revolution Racing and the Drive for Diversity program, the industry's leading on-track development initiative for minority and female drivers and crew members.
