A free DVD has been released demonstrating collision repair techniques for heavy-duty trucks that use the Pliogrip by Valvoline body repair system, showing bonding and repair methods for plastics and composites found on truck hoods, bumpers, fairings and roofs.

The DVD was created by Ashland Specialty Polymers & Adhesives, a business group of Ashland Performance Materials and a division of Ashland Inc. It is available by calling 800-PLIOGRIP or by going to the Pliogrip web site.

“Our mission with this DVD is to provide truck body repair technicians a visual training tool that shows how to distinguish and repair various types of plastics appearing on Class 8 trucks, and to demonstrate a faster, more reliable repair system,” said Jeffrey Miller, senior technical service representative, Ashland Specialty Polymers & Adhesives.
