Continental names director of replacement sales

The Commercial Vehicle Tire division of Continental Corp. has named Shaun Uys director of replacement sales for the North America region

The Commercial Vehicle Tire division of Continental Corp. has named Shaun Uys director of replacement sales for the North America region, where he will be responsible for dealer and fleet replacement tire sales for the Continental and General brands in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Uys joined the company in 2000, most recently responsible for global pricing strategies for the Commercial Vehicle Tires division. In his new position, he will report directly to Paul Williams, executive vp of Commercial Vehicle Tires, North America.

Continental Corp. is a supplier of tires, brake systems, powertrain and chassis systems, instrumentation and vehicle electronics. It employs approximately 150,000 people at nearly 200 locations in 36 countries.
