Hissong Kenworth of Richfield, OH, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of a dealership that began when now-retired Robert “Bob” Hissong and customer Don Fritz struck up a business relationship over a single Kenworth truck that eventually became a lifelong friendship.

Fritz was among the dealer's first customers after Bob Hissong and his father and brother bought the Kenworth franchise and opened the Richfield facility in 1961. Today, with both Fritz and Bob Hissong retired, business between Fritz Livestock and Hissong Kenworth is now conducted by their sons, Mike Fritz and Darren Hissong, president and part owner of Hissong Kenworth.
