Lorenzo Simonelli, formerly president & CEO of GE Consumer & Industrial in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has been named president & CEO of GE Transportation

Lorenzo Simonelli, formerly president & CEO of GE Consumer & Industrial in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has been named president & CEO of GE Transportation. He succeeds John Dineen, who was named president & CEO of GE Healthcare.

Simonelli has been with GE for 14 years, previously heading Consumer & Industrial’s Global Product Management Team and serving as CFO for Consumer & Industrial—Americas.

Simonelli will be based at GE Transportation’s headquarters in Erie, PA.
