The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) today announced that the latest version of its Idling Regulations Compendium is now available online at www.atri-online.org.

Designed to help truck drivers reduce idling and comply with idling regulations throughout the U.S, it identifies 34 different state, district, county and city regulations that establish idle limits for commercial vehicles.

Maximum idling limits and fines are listed, as well as specific exemptions. In addition to the online compendium, ATRI provides the information on a card that drivers can keep right in their cabs.

“Information in the compendium is clear, concise and comprehensive,” says Rebecca Brewster, ATRI president & COO, “It is an excellent resource for motor carriers and drivers that operate in the identified jurisdictions.”
