The National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) has established the Green Fleet Awards

The National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) has established the Green Fleet Awards, an annual honor for individuals who implement innovative and creative programs for their company’s green initiatives. There will be two award winners, one for car/light truck fleets and one for truck/equipment fleets.

According to NAFA, the criteria will include originality and innovativeness; success of the program and overall fleet efficiency; and accomplishment of reducing energy consumption.

Submissions can be sent by email or mailed to Green Fleet Awards; c/o NAFA; Suite 200, 125 Village Blvd.; Princeton, NJ 08540, and must be received by April 4, 2008. Winners must be NAFA members, and any individual directly employed in a vehicle management role in the U.S. or Canada can submit applications.

Winners will be invited to receive the Green Fleet Award at NAFA’s 2008 Institute & Expo in Salt Lake City on May 5.
