A synthetic grease from Amsoil is formulated to deliver wear protection and extreme-pressure performance for medium- and heavy-duty applications.

The company said Amsoil Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease combines base oils, proprietary synthetic polymeric chemistry and an advanced additive package with lithium-complex thickener for improved impact resistance, adhesion and cohesion properties to keep the grease in place and seal out water and contaminants.

Designed for heavily loaded chassis grease points such as wheel bearings, axle assemblies, universal joins, pivot pins, fifth wheel hitch plates, steering linkages, spring pins, kings pins, ball joints, and water pump bearings to name a few, the grease provides rust and corrosion protection against road salts and other chemicals, noted Amsoil.
