DHL is combining two operations into one larger group. DHL's divisions in Canada and Latin America are merging to form DHL Express International Americas.
Roger Crook will serve as CEO. Crook, formerly CEO of DHL Latin America, believes combining the two divisions should help improve profitability.
“One of my primary goals is to fully maximize Canada’s potential together with that of Latin America, to turn International Americas into an even more profitable region, through extensive market growth,” said Crook. “The unification of these two regions will enable us to develop our entire team with the best practices and experiences from both Canada and Latin America.”
DHL noted that Ken Allen, former CEO of DHL Canada, is becoming CEO of DHL Express Emerging Markets, which includes five sub-regions in covering the Middle East and Africa.
