    A slate of new executives is taking the helm at $3.2 billion Houston-based logistics firm EGL Global Logistics.

    Gregory Weigel, a 23-year veteran of the transportation and logistics industry, is the company’s new COO, Keith Winters is the new chief administrative officer.

    Michael Slaughter is now chief accounting officer, William LaMothe the firm’s new executive vp-global logistics, and Samuel Slater is now executive vp-domestic operations.

    EGL also noted its CFO, Charles Leonard, has resigned.
