A professional-development webinar course is being offered by NAFA Fleet Management Assn. The six-week course will teach managers ways to develop and motivate employees, to work within organizational frameworks, and to adjust leadership and management techniques to fit the given situation

A professional-development webinar course is being offered by NAFA Fleet Management Assn. The six-week course will teach managers ways to develop and motivate employees, to work within organizational frameworks, and to adjust leadership and management techniques to fit the given situation.

Effective oral and written communication, so essential to successful management, will also be addressed, NAFA said.

Katherine Vigneau, MBA, CAFM, will lead the course.

Classes will be held Monday and Thursday nights from 7-8:30 p.m. EDT.

Monday sessions will offer a new lesson with readings and questions for completion assigned for discussion on Thursday.

NAFA’s 2011 Professional Development Guide will serve as the course textbook and will be provided to all webinar participants.

Cost is $199 for CAFM/CAFS candidates currently enrolled in the certification program.

Cost is $249 for members not enrolled in the certification program-- and $349 for non-NAFA members.
