Penske Truck Leasing purchases Texas-based Bright

Penske Truck Leasing Co. has completed the acquisition of Bright Truck Leasing and Bright Distribution. Bright is a Garland, TXs-based privately owned full-service truck leasing, truck maintenance, commercial truck rental and logistics services provider.

The acquisition of Bright—which operates some 15 locations around Texas-- adds approximately 3,400 tractors, truck and trailers to the Penske fleet.

Bright was founded in 1983 and had been a NationaLease affiliate.
