Drivers for Prime inc. can now access full-service medical services at the company’s terminal in Springfield, MO.

Prime’s medical center, which has provided health care to drivers for years, includes one full-time physician and four nurses from Orion Healthcare. The facility offers many treatment services, including primary care, occupational medicine, DOT physicals, worker’s compensation, urgent care and wellness screening. Company drivers and owner operators can access Prime’s healthcare system. Discounts are also available for drivers who do not carry health insurance.

“Working with Prime has been very rewarding,” said John Abraham, M.D., from Orion Healthcare. “These drivers are a patient population that needs health care and many times it’s hard for them to access it. Our partnership with Prime allows us to provide exactly what drivers need.”
