David J. Compton has been named president of Reyco Granning.
Compton has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, operations, and general management with a Tier 1 automotive supplier, Reyco Granning said.
“David comes to Reyco Granning with the skills we need to capitalize on the growth and success we’ve had over the past two years,” said Ray Mueller. “This new structure will allow me to focus on new products and market opportunities.”
Reyco Granning was purchased earlier this year in a management buyout backed by private investment group MAT Capital. Mueller, who stepped in as president during the change in ownership, will move to a new role as senior vice president of business development.
“I’m excited to join Reyco Granning at a time when great progress has been made to emerge after the economic downturn as a strong and healthy company,” said Compton. “With the financial stability of the recent change of ownership, this company is destined for significant growth and success.”
Reyco Granning is a manufacturer of vehicle suspension systems.
