Rodger Dowdell has been named vp of business development and Paul Solberg account manager for Pilot Transport, a business unit of United Road.
Dowdell will work to increase business opportunities while Solberg will act as the primary resource in the retention and development of business, the company said. Dowdell spent 30 years in sales with Reliable Carriers. Solberg also worked with Reliable, most recently serving as an account manager/fleet supervisor.
Pilot is a niche carrier specializing in transporting specialty, research and development, show and prototype vehicles.
