Mike Ryan, who has made record-breaking runs in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in recent years, is putting one of his mountain-eating Class 8 machines up for sale. Ryan said he is asking $150,000 for the modified Freightliner, but points out over $1 million was spent to build and develop it over a 10-yr. period. Included in the sale will be the complete history of the race truck, including photos, TV shows, videos, the Play Station game, and even “the driving suits and helmets that I have worn while driving it over the years and many spare parts.” For more information on this rolling piece of trucking history, go to www.fastrucks.com or call 818-766-2200.
