TZA Consulting is providing free transportation assessments to help companies better understand their current transportation operations and assist with future strategies.

According to TZA, transportation specialists will assess a company’s current inbound activities, such as freight terms and carrier costs, and outbound operations, including scheduling and routing, carrier costs, and driver productivity.

They will then examine indicators that measure the operation’s performance, culminating in a written document summarizing TZA’s assessments and recommendations, as well as estimated savings.

"Companies cannot control the rising cost of fuel," said Paul Schweet, TZA senior vp. "But they can control other factors that have an equally critical impact on transportation costs. These assessments enable us to exercise our years of transportation operations expertise to help companies identify those factors and utilize their assets more effectively."

Assessments are available by contacting Schweet at 847-540-6543 or at [email protected].
