Enhanced trailer storage system on display

March 20, 2012

LOUISVILLE, KY. Kinedyne is displaying an enhanced version of its Kaptive Beam System at the Mid-America Trucking Show this year as well as recently released tarp ties.

The Kaptive Beam System is a “double-decking” solution that creates a second deck inside the trailer, maximizing cargo space. The system uses tracks and beams to allow fleets to take advantage of weight limits by utilizing traditional dead space in a trailer.

According to Kinedyne, the system decreases loading time, increases overall freight capacity, reduces freight damages, and reduces lost decking beams.

The company is also showing its Polar and Tiger Tarp ties. Polar ties are a natural rubber tarp tie for frigid temperatures and severe weather conditions. The Tiger EPDM rubber tarp tie (synthetic) is designed to resist UV degradation with high elastic retention, thus withstanding exposure to heat found in warmer climates.

Both tarp ties feature crimped S-Hooks as a standard feature.

Kinedyne will also be showing its Grip Link tire chains, which offer high-strength, carbon steel chains for long wear life; and a number of winches, winch straps, and ratchet straps for flatbeds.
