Johnson Truck Bodies provides product mix

March 21, 2013

LOUISVILLE, KY. Johnson Truck Bodies is unveiling a new “standard product mix” of truck bodies this week at the Mid-America Trucking Show. According to Johnson, this mix focuses on four standard base models that are pre-engineered, cost-efficient and lighter in weight than ever before and offer a wide range of custom options including emission-free all-electric refrigeration.

The lineup includes:

Blizzard Series

Johnson’s most popular truck body allows for design modifications to accommodate the customer’s loading preferences while maintaining structural integrity and thermal efficiency. The Blizzard features a smooth white fiberglass exterior and is designed to keep products fresh during transport at fresh, frozen and deep frozen temperatures.

Guardian Series

Often called the reach-in because it is loaded and unloaded by hand. The Guardian has product compartment doors on each side of the body and features low ground-to-floor height for drivers to quickly and safely identify and access products. The Guardian body, which fits on a lighter chassis to help reduce operating costs, provides protection for both fresh and frozen product delivery.

Cadet

The Cadet is Johnson’s smallest fiberglass composite temperature-controlled truck body. This 8-ft. model with its rear access door is engineered to easily fit in a heavy-duty 3/4 or 1-ton pick-up truck depending on the cargo requirements. The Cadet is the perfect option for small loads, shorter delivery routes, and is designed for fresh and frozen product applications in a variety of markets, the company said.

Majestic Series

Johnson’s insulated composite specialty trailer, available in lengths up to 36-ft., is designed for food products, beverages, keg beer, temperature controlled medical supplies, animal transport, special events and more. The Majestic is available with up to three temperature zones.
