LOUISVILLE, Ky. Shell has announced its 28th Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition will take place this year on June 10-12 in the historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Accompanying the event this year will be a parade and Trucker’s Movie Night, featuring Smokey and the Bandit at a drive-in theater. The parade will include a collection of antique trucks as well as community and civic organizations. It will be followed by a fireworks display, kicking off the Big Rig light contest.
A carnival will be held daily as well.
A grand prize of cash and prizes totaling $25,000 will be awarded and 12 owner-operators will have their trucks featured in the 2011 Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendard.
