The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), a non-profit engineering and scientific organization dedicated to advancing mobility technology, is gearing up to celebrate its 100th anniversary celebration next year.
Since its humble beginnings serving a few engineers in 1905, SAE has focused on the development of standards for the automobile, aerospace, and commercial/heavy-duty communities and later provided a forum for information exchange.
Currently, SAE has nearly 85,000 members who are of engineers and scientists. It is committed to developing technical information on all forms of self-propelled vehicles and advancing mobility technology.
