Associated General Contractors of America will host a construction career academy workshop

The Associated General Contractors of America will host a construction career academy workshop at East Ridge High School in East Ridge, TN, on October 28 to 29.

AGC expects over 40 construction industry professionals and educators will attend. The academy was designed to serve as a national model. Attendees will have a chance to see the success of the construction career academy program at East Ridge and learn how to implement such a program in their local communities.

“AGC believes that construction career academies are an improved method of delivering career education to young people; this is due to the integration of career and academic skills,” said AGC executive director—training and educational services, John Heffner.
