McAleese appointed head of Bendix CVS

Joseph J. McAleese has been appointed CEO of Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, replacing Robert S. Oswald. McAleese, who was named president in March 2002, will immediately assume Oswald's position. Oswald will continue to serve as chairman at Bendix. Joseph J. McAleese has been appointed CEO of Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, replacing Robert S. Oswald.

McAleese, who was named president in March 2002, will immediately assume Oswald's position. Oswald will continue to serve as chairman at Bendix.

"Joe's leadership and significant contributions have been invaluable to the successful integration efforts with our parent company, Knorr-Bremse, and to the continued advancement of the Bendix organization," Oswald said.
