Peterbilt's Model 384 was named the Commercial Truck of the Year in the heavy-duty classification by the American Truck Dealers (ATD). The announcement was made at ATD's 47th annual Convention & Expo in Orlando.

The Model 384 has been updated with available all-wheel drive. It has a 108 in. BBC with front axle ratings ranging from 12,000 to 16,000 lbs. It is equipped with a Paccar PX-6 engine offering 325 hp. Recent upgrades include better sightlines and a 17% improvement in side-window visibility, noted Peterbilt.
