The International Cargo Security Council (ICSC) is sponsoring a cargo security conference in Niagara Falls, ON, at the Renaissance Fallsview Hotel, July 10-12. ICSC program partners for the conference are The Border Trade Alliance and The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Assn.

“We’ve assembled 24 of the most renowned U.S. and Canadian security and logistics experts,” said seminar chairman Erik Hoffer of CGM Security Solutions, Inc., Punta Gorda, FL. “Speakers and panelists from government and the private sector will share their knowledge and experience with regulations, best practices and technology for enhancing cross-border security and speeding shipments through Customs.”

Hoffer added, “Supply chain managers who are involved with the growing concerns around the secure and efficient transport of products across the U.S.-Canadian border will gain valuable information from this conference.” In addition to the seminars, registrants will also tour an international entry and departure point on the Canadian/U.S. border, to be conducted by the Canada Border Services Agency.

Seminar and hotel registration forms can be downloaded from ICSC’s website, www.cargosecurity.com. For more information, contact ICSC at 410-571-7913, or email [email protected].
