The two-year contract covers domestic shipments for all Siemens’ companies, ranging from mobile phones to lighting components and from patient care products to power systems. BAX Global, which has worked with Siemens since 1992, said local divisional logistical support and pricing were major factors in winning the contract.

Munich, Germany-based Siemens employs more than 460,000 in over 190 countries and had U.S. sales of $16.2 billion in 1999-2000, representing 22% of its worldwide revenues.
