Chief counsel appointed at FMCSA

U.S. Transportation Secretary Norman Y. Mineta announced the appointment of Warren E. Hoemann as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) chief counsel. Hoemann will assume his new role and serve as chief deputy to Acting FMCSA Administrator Annette M. Sandberg on March 17. Hoemann comes to FMCSA from the California Trucking Assn., where he oversaw several departments including accounting,

Hoemann comes to FMCSA from the California Trucking Assn., where he oversaw several departments including accounting, safety, seminars and training, public affairs and highway policy.
