Clicklogistics Inc., a provider of logistics technology and management services, says its Internet-based Transportation Management System (TMS), Clicklogistics Online, has gone live nationwide.

The system has been in operation since February, but had been restricted to the company’s pre-selected launch customers, including USFilter and Worthington Steelpac/Harley Davidson. The restricted launch helped the company iron out any glitches in the system before making it available to the broader shipping public.

Clicklogistics Online encompasses a variety of functions, including carrier tariff management, appointment scheduling, carrier search and selection, load tendering, bill of lading generation, shipment consolidation, shipment/delivery notifications, status updates and claim initiation.

It also has what’s called a “Task Assignment” feature, through which users can select entire shipments or individual tasks and assign them to one of Clicklogistics’ supply chain experts, who will manage the activity for the shipper.
