Diesel drops again

The national average price of diesel fuel fell another 4-cents per gallon last week to $1.407 per gal, marking the fifth straight week the price has dropped according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The current average price is the lowest since it hit $1.397 on April 9. It has dropped 12.2 cents over the last five weeks. It is also now 2.5 cents less than it was at this time last year.

The Energy Information Administration surveys 350 fueling stations nationwide.
