Diesel Prices On the Rise

The U.S. average retail price for diesel fuel rose yesterday for the first time in nine weeks, increasing $0.012 to $1.391 gal, the U.S. Department of Energy said. The last price gain was the week of Jan. 29, when the price went up $0.011. The price rose in most U.S. regions except the Rocky Mountain area, where it essentially has stayed the same. The price rose in most U.S. regions except the Rocky Mountain area, where it essentially has stayed the same. The highest price was in California, where the average price was $1.605 – up $0.02 from the previous week.
